A tired blue 1993 Supra off Kijiji, rebuilt in Winnipeg into a 2JZ-GTE car that won PASMAG’s Tuner Battlegrounds championship in 2014 and a SEMA Young Gun award in 2016. Everything Garage 46 does traces back to this car.

From Kijiji to Las Vegas

The car began as a beat-up blue Supra found on Kijiji. It was rebuilt in Winnipeg with local shops, the engine taken to 700-plus horsepower on the factory 2JZ-GTE block, and entered in PASMAG’s Tuner Battlegrounds, the fan-voted build competition that crowns its champion at the SEMA Show. It won the 2014 championship and a magazine feature titled, simply, “The Champ”.
The win paid for the next phase: a widebody conversion and air suspension. In 2016 the Supra went back to SEMA for Battle of the Builders, the show’s own competition judged by past winners, and finished in the Top 21 overall and Top 7 in Sport Compact. Anthony was presented with the Young Gun award, the only Canadian builder to take home an award that year. The next season’s Tuner Battlegrounds champion was also from Winnipeg and said this car was the reason he entered.
At home it took a class win at the ISCA show in Winnipeg in 2017, then made way for the next cars: an A90 Supra at SEMA 2019, the Z on the Toyo Treadpass in 2025, the GT-R in 2026.

Fan-voted competitions reward cars that photograph well. Battle of the Builders is judged by builders who crawl underneath.
