The enthusiast-car problem
Performance cars are often modified, driven hard or tracked, and listings rarely tell the whole story. A tune, a big turbo or a cheap coilover can be fine or a warning sign, depending on who did the work. We know what to look for because we build these cars ourselves.
Modified cars, judged properly
We check how modifications were done, whether the parts are reputable, whether the tune suits the hardware, and what will need attention soon. Sometimes a well-modified car is the best buy; sometimes a stock example is. We tell you which.
Classics and collector cars
For classics, originality, rust and documentation drive value. We inspect the body, structure and mechanicals and help you understand what restoration or upkeep will really cost.

Should I buy a modified performance car?
It can be a good buy if the work was done properly with quality parts and a suitable tune. Poorly done modifications can be expensive. An inspection by a performance shop tells you which you are looking at.
