Toyota Service & Performance
Toyotas are built to last, and we help them do it. Garage 46 maintains everyday Toyotas and trucks, and modifies GR86s, GR Corollas and GR Supras.
Serving North Kildonan, East Kildonan, Transcona, East St. Paul and the rest of Winnipeg.
Trucks, SUVs and daily drivers
Tacomas, Tundras, 4Runners and RAV4s are everywhere in Manitoba, and road salt is their biggest enemy. We inspect frames and brake lines for corrosion as part of maintenance, along with fluids, brakes and suspension, so small problems are caught before they grow.
GR86, GR Corolla and GR Supra
Toyota’s GR models are built for enthusiasts. The GR86 and GR Corolla respond well to tuning, intake and exhaust, and suspension work. The GR Supra uses a BMW-designed B58 turbo engine, which is famously responsive to calibration. We plan power, grip and braking together.
Buying a used Toyota
Toyotas hold their value, so it pays to know exactly what you are buying. Check the frame and underbody for rust, especially on trucks, verify the maintenance history and look for signs of hard off-road use. We inspect before you buy and can source a specific model for you.
Before you book
Toyota Service & Performance questions.
Is the GR Supra a Toyota or a BMW to work on?
Both. The GR Supra was co-developed with BMW and uses BMW’s B58 or B46 engine and much of its electronics. That is part of why the six-cylinder Supra responds so well to tuning.
What should I check on a used Tacoma or 4Runner?
Inspect the frame, brake lines and underbody for rust, check for off-road damage and verify the maintenance history. A pre-purchase inspection on a lift shows what you cannot see in a driveway.
Can a GR86 be tuned?
Yes. A calibration paired with intake and exhaust work improves response, and suspension, tires and brakes make the biggest difference to how it drives.
